Here are a number of links to support your learning:
If you would like to share anything you have done, you can send this via Seesaw or email r.carson@knottyashprimary.co.uk.
Don't forget to take a look on Twitter @AshKnotty to see what we've been up to in class each week too!
Remember all the fun we had learning online? Look through the videos below with your family and please do carry on sending your weekend news clips via Seesaw, we love to see what you have all been up to!

Dear KS 2 parents,
By now you will have received Ann's clip about the campaign "Black Lives Matter". Please share the clip Ann has emailed to you with your children. We know there is a lot of new vocabulary involved and it may be best to watch the full clip through once, then watch it again stopping every so often to check your child understanding. Please do encourage your child to share their thoughts and views about what is happening.
Just below there is a clip and a youtube link.
:
Black Lives Matter Our Knotty Ash clip with Ann delivering the information in BSL.
Please follow this link to see Ann delivering information from the Knotty Ash clip in greater depth.
Please do get involved and as ever, do send us the children's ideas about how to spread the message (films, posters, photographs etc).
Thank you so much for your support!
Best wishes,
Team DRB
Week commencing 1st June 2020
Hello everybody,
I hope you have all had a great half term and are making the most of the fantastic weather!
Please check your emails as your child's home learning resources have been sent directly to you - apart from Miss Kean's children who will be receiving theirs through the post, get ready because your mini-beast maths work needs you to conduct and outdoor investigation - how exciting! Plus Miss Kean has found a great snail game and shows us all how to play in the clip I have emailed (you will need lots of 1p and 2p coins!)
KS2 DRB children, by now you should have all received your sewing kits - check out the clip from Miss Heggs below to find out what to do with your rainbows kits.
We are missing you lots and can't wait to see you again. Please keep your clips and photos coming in so we can share and celebrate your fantastic work!
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs. Sweeney and all of the DRB Team.
Week commencing 18 May 2020
Hello everybody,
Welcome to another week of fun learning at home! We are absolutely delighted with all your hard work and we want to say a huge "THANK YOU" for staying in touch and keeping us all together even though we are apart!
Over the next couple of weeks KS2 are continuing with their Katie Morag adventure. Resources for your child will be emailed directly to you, starting with the link to the BSL questions for the second half of the story. The questions will help the children to recall the main events of the story and we would then like them to film their own version or just part of it! Please do send these signed stories to us so we can share them all on our class page!
Katie Morag is very excited at the thought of a new cafe opening when the Pier is finally finished! Why not open your own cafe at home? You will need to think of a name for your cafe and also decide what times you will be open and closed. Then there is the menu to think about - what food are you going to sell and how much are you going to charge? Miss Fisher thinks chocolate treats would sell very well! Why not follow her recipe and let's see what you put on YOUR menu!
Miss Kean has got lots of fun activities ready for her children too so please check your inbox for new resources.
Take care and have fun,
Mrs. Sweeney and all of Team DRB
