Knotty Ash hosts a Deaf Resource Base (DRB) which is an integral part of the school. We are therefore able to accommodate severely/profoundly deaf children in our inclusive mainstream school with specialist teachers of the deaf. The process of admission to the DRB is coordinated by Liverpool Local Authority Sensory Service. The operational lead is:

We are happy to show families around our school but please be aware that this is no guarantee of a place being offered.
The school are able to offer a place for your child from the day after their third birthday. Applications are made directly to the school. Parents and Carers can submit an application anytime before their child's third birthday. The earlier the better!
There is a morning session and an afternoon session; each can accommodate up to 26 pupils
Morning session 8.30am-11.30am
Afternoon session 12.30pm-3.30pm
We also offer 30 hour (full day) provision for children who are eligible.
