Forest School

We have developed our own Forest School site in the school grounds.  It's a little woodland oasis for outdoor learning, enjoyed by all our children from Nursery to Year 6.

 

Forest School ethos and practice is underpinned by research, which has found benefits to children and young people, including:

  • Increased self-esteem and self-confidence  
  • Improved social skills  
  • The development of language and communication skills  
  • Improved physical motor skills  
  • Improved motivation and concentration  
  • Increased knowledge and understanding of the environment
