Being in school is brilliant but we all like to get out and about every now and then! Each class organises at least two trips out from school every year. Some year-groups also have a residential trip. Year 6 go to Kingswood, Colomendy, from Monday to Friday in November. Year 3 go there from Wednesday to Friday in March. This year, Year 4 and Year 5 are going on a two-night trip to Peak Venture for the first time.
The richness of experience beyond our doors should be available to all children, regardless of family circumstance, so some of our Pupil Premium funding is dedicated to reducing the cost of trips for our families. We are also very lucky to have a dedicated PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) who donate much of the money they raise to reduce the price of outings. We aim to offer a range of trips throughout a child's life with us, including museums, theatre, local area, safari park/zoo, art galleries, Liverpool cultural sites etc.
